The Children Under the House
Based on the popular YouTube series of the same name, The Children Under the House brings its unique presentation to book form.
Shortly after moving to the picturesque town of Cate’s Crossing, Louisiana, the Daniels’ youngest daughter, Jess, claims to be haunted by the sounds of ghostly children lurking under their new home. Her parents try to convince her that there is nothing to be afraid of, but instead, the young girl permanently loses her voice - taken by the monsters under their feet.
After countless doctor visits and multiple second opinions, the Daniels find themselves hoping that renowned local child therapist, Julia Luu, can help their daughter. Still, to succeed, the young doctor will have to decipher Jess’s only form of communication—her eerie drawings. However, as she digs deeper into these macabre images, she will discover that the monsters under the house aren’t nearly as scary as the monsters that put them there.
